2023 Elections: House Of Reps Member Caught With $500,000 Cash And "Sharing Formula" In Rivers
House of reps member in rivers state, Hon. Chinyere Igwe has been caught with $500,000 cash and a ‘Sharing Formula’.
He was arrested in the early hours of Wednesday, 22 February 2023 in port harcourt.
He claimed was given to him by PDP presidential aspirant, Atiku Abubakar to ensure his electoral success in Rivers State.
Vote buying has been a menace in Nigerian elections for several decades. In his strive to leave a better legacy, President Buhari promised to ensure this election is free, fair, and credible.
