‘I make $300,000 just to sew a single cloth – Seyi Vodi interview

Billionaire fashion designer, Oluwaseyi Adekunle, professionally known as Seyi Vodi, disclosed that he now earns $300,000, which is about N400M, to sew a single cloth.

Seyi Vodi disclosed this to all and sundry during a recent interview as he shares how he made his wealth.

Seyi Vodi made headlines in the year 2025 after he flaunted his new palatial office space worth billions of naira. It is not for the faint-hearted.

Prominent figures like, Vice President Kashim Shettima, Davido, Burna Boy, Uzor Kalu, Gov Adeleke, MC Oluomo, 2Baba, K1 De Ultimate, Cubaba Chief Priest, Obi Cubana, Abu Abel, Saheed Osupa, Richard Mofe Damijo, Comedian AY, Minister of Communication, Bosun Tijani, Peller, Pastor Jerry Eze, Olu of Warri, among others have patronized Seyi Vodi at his office in Abuja.

During the interview, Seyi Vodi said that the first ever money he made was N3,600 and that was from the NYSC.

He disclosed that during that time, while others were spending their allawee, he was thinking of investing.

Backing up his point, Seyi Vodi uttered that he already has the entrepreneurship skill embedded in him since his younger days before entering the University stressing that he used to sell ice water at the barrack and by extension he knows how N1 can change to N2.

Speaking further, 50-year-old Seyi Vodi, who is now well known for his marketing skills, stressed that he used to collect N500 to sew a cloth; now he earns around $300,000 (N400M) to sew a single cloth for an individual.

Seyi Vodi graduated from the Department of Geology at the University of Maiduguri. He hails from Osun State. He is an Officer of the Order of the Niger (OON).
