Amotekun Nabs Notorious Bulgar For Stealing Church Equipment In Osun

The operatives of Amotekun security outfit have arrested a notorious thief for stealing church items in Osun state.

The suspect, 41-year-old Temitope Olojede was caught with equipment belonging to a C&S church in Ogo oluwa area of the state.

Speaking to journalists on Saturday 11th February 2023, the state commander of Amotekun Bashir Adewinmibi stated that suspect was apprehended after a tip-off from a resident.

He described the suspect as a notorious thief who has been terrorising residents of the area. According to the commander, the culprit broke into the church at about 4 am on Friday.

Adewinmbi said a sound system engine, microphones, drum sets, and other items were recovered from the suspect.

“During investigation, he confessed to being in the act for a very long time and that he has been stealing from the area and its environs,” Adewinmbi added.
