APC Supporters Protest In Ikorodu Over Failure To Pay Them During Presidential Elections (Video)

Some aggrieved APC supporters in Ikorodu have protested the failure of the party to pay them after voting during the February 25 presidential elections.

In a video that has gone viral on social media, the angry party members were seen threatening to boycott the upcoming governorship elections.

“I have been an APC member since I moved to Ikorodu fifteen years ago. I was born and brought up in the party. But up till now, I have not benefitted even just #500 from them”. Lamented one of the protesters.

“We voted massively in ikorodu during the last election. We canvassed people to vote for the party. But we have received nothing to show that our efforts are recognized”. Said another protester.

The gubernatorial and house of assembly elections will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2023, across the country.
