Awoniyi, Oshimen, Chukwueze Leads As Super Eagles Release 23-Man Squad List For Upcoming AFCON Qualifiers
The Super Eagles of Nigeria have released a 23-man squad for their upcoming African Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifying games.
The Nigerian senior national team is slated to face Guinea Bissau and Sao Tome and principle as they continue their quest to qualify for the next Biggest African football showpiece.
The list includes Napoli superstar forward – Victor Oshimen, Nottingham Forest Goal machine – Taiwo Awoniyo, Villarreal’s flying winger – Samuel Chukwueze, and Veteran forward and team captain – Ahmed Musa.
Jose Paseiro-led Boys has had an indifferent start in their qualifying campaign, suffering a shock home loss to Guinea Bissau in Abuja.
However, they have bounced back quite well and could book their Afcon ticket with victories over their opponents next month.
