Chelsea have agreed a british transfer record of £115 million with Brighton to sign Moises Caicedo, Naijapopstar reports.

The 21-year old ecuadorian international is now expected to undergo medicals and put pen into paper on an eight year contract.

Caicedo has been a subject of interest in the summer transfer as his exit from the seagulls took another twist when liverpool reportedly agreed a £110 million deal despite chelsea’s long standing interest.

However, Caicedo made it clear he wanted to move to Stamford Bridge even after Liverpool agreed terms with Brighton, and he is now set to complete his dream move in a deal that will surpass the previous highest figure of £105.8m the Blues paid Benfica for Enzo Fernández back in January.
