Bruno Fernandes Officially Confirmed New Captain Of Manchester United
Manchester United have officially confirmed Portugese international midfielder, Bruno Fernandes as the new captain of the club.
This development is coming after former skipper, Harry Maguire was stripped off the captaincy after helding talks with manager Erik Ten Haag last week.
Fernandes has already worn the armband for United on several occasions and Ten Haag has confirmed that he will now lead the team on a permanent basis.
The midfield maestro has scored 64 goals and contributed 54 assists in just 185 games for the club since joining in 2020.
Fernandes’ first game as skipper will come on Saturday night, when United take on Arsenal in their first fixture of their pre-season tour of the United States.
