Outgoing Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari has today conferred President-Elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu with the Grand Commander of the Order of the Federal Republic (GCFR) while His VP elect, Kashim Shettima was honored with the Grand Commander of the Order of the Niger (GCON).

The conferment took place in an investiture ceremony on Thursday at the state house in Abuja, an event that also marked the official handover of transition documents from Buhari to Tinubu.
