Grammy Award-winning Nigerian singer, Burna Boy has emerged as the winner for Best International Act at the 2023 edition of BET Awards.

Burna clinched the most coveted category of the BET award by beating the likes of Ayra Starr, Central Cee, and Stormzy, among others.

The ‘African Giant’ crooner was not physically present at the show when he was announced as the winner. However, his mother, Bose Ogulu, received the award on his behalf.

Burna Boy has been a regular winner at the BET awards as his music career continues to move in an upward trajectory, winning in the same category in 2019 and 2021.
