Renowned musician and skit creator Carter Efe publicly challenges fellow artist Berri Tiga when the latter says she wants to perform “Machala” with him at Sydney Talker’s wildly popular show.

The two artists collaborated in 2022, releasing the hit song “Machala,” which garnered widespread popularity in the Nigerian music scene. However, a disagreement regarding the royalties for the music ensued, leading to a dispute over the ownership of the song between Berri Tiga and Carter Efe.

During Sydney Talker’s “Influence Concert,” Carter Efe informed the gathered fans that Berri Tiga insisted on performing “Machala” with him backstage.

Carter expressed his displeasure, reminding the audience of the online conflicts with Berri Tiga and criticized him for wanting to appear as best buddies offline after dragging him through controversies. He passionately voiced his grievances, even uttering curses directed at the budding singer.
