Chelsea football club has officially announced the signing of French international forward, Christopher Nkunku from RB Leipzig.

According to sky sports, the forward has officially put pen to paper to join the club on a six-year contract.

The forward has reportedly agreed on a deal with the London club since last year and also had a successful medical with an agreement in principle to join the Blues this summer.

Despite having a season affected by niggling injuries which also see him ruled out of the world cup in Qatar, Nkunku has had a successful campaign as he emerged as the Bundesliga joint-top scorer despite missing the majority of games.

He also led the line to propel Leipzig to the DF pokal trophy, opening the scoring in the 2-0 victory over Eintracht Frankfurt in the final.
