A video of a couple kissing each other on the Delhi Metro has gone viral on social media.

The video was posted on Twitter with the caption, “Shameful Viral Video from #Delhi. After Patna Junction, Once all the passengers in the Delhi Metro train had to be embarrassed. Peaceful kissing Video. shameless.”

While some netizens criticised the couple for kissing publicly, most people called out the person who shot the video without consent. Many opined that expressing gestures of love in public should be normalised.

One user said, “Why do Delhi Metro travelers get scandalized when people kiss in the train? Mumbai aake dekho. You can see couples kissing everywhere and others mostly minding their own business.”

Another wrote, “Filming someone without their consent or posting a video of the same is punishable under IPC Section 354 C. But this is more about breaking a law, this is about a society so frustrated that it cant even see 2 young people show affection.”

Someone commented, “It is ok to P*ss in public But not ok to kiss in public.”
Yet another added, “The Delhi metro is the most happening place in India right now. Videos of passengers fighting each other over seats, women traveling naked to issue a bold statement, couples kissing each other publicly etc have become our daily source of entertainment. Culture changes here!”

The video of the couple kissing on the metro comes days after Delhi Metro bikini girl Rhythm Chanana’s video drew criticism on social media.
