Di’Ja Breaks Silence On ‘Reason She Left’ Don Jazzy's Mavin Records
Popular Nigerian singer, Hadiza Blell famously known as Di’Ja has said she never left Mavins records the label’s founder, Don Jazzy.
The 39-year-old mother of one made this known on Monday while responding to a post on the popular microblogging platform, ‘X’ formerly known as Twitter.
A fan had asked why the singer left Don Jazzy, speculating that Di’Ja would have been bigger than another female artiste, Tems by now.
Replying to the user, the singer wrote:
“I never left. Kindly know this. Life happens and we are grateful for all the love and happenings. God bless Tems, and I need her to get bigger.”
Di’Ja also shared videos of gifts she received for her birthday including a cake from Mavin.
“Thank you to my family, friends and family at Mavin for my cakes. I must gain weight this year,” the mother of three wrote in another tweet.
Di’Ja joined Mavin Records in February 2014 with the release of a single titled ‘Yaro’.
She featured also with other Mavin artistes on songs like ‘Dorobucci’, ‘Adaobi’, ‘Looku Looku’ and ‘Arise’.
