A female Nigerian doctor, Diasco Vwaere who had just 2 weeks to complete her housemanship has tragically died in general hospital in Odan, Lagos island as the faulty elevator she was in fell from the 10th floor and crashed to the ground.

According to reports gathered, Dr. Diasco Vwaere was in the elevator at the hospital, when it malfunctioned and hit the ground from the 10th floor.

It was also gthered that Doctor Vwaere wanted get her food from a dispatch rider downstairs before the tragic incident strucked.

She reportedly survived with major bodily injuries but later died as there was delay with blood and medical care.

Reports says She was still conscious even with fractures and she was taken to the emergency but another delay due to shortage of blood in the facility.

The painful incidence has sparked aggrieved reactions from other staffs in the hospital who said to have been complaining for a long time about the particular elevator.

“We’ve maneuvered, managed and prayed each time we had to use it. Empty promises will be made to fix it….till it killed one of us”. One of the late doctor’s colleague said.
