The Buenos Aires town of Bernal is still shaken by the brutal crime of Benjamín Molina, the 16-year-old teenager who died on Saturday afternoon after having his throat slit. Luján Rigoni was arrested as the main suspect in the homicide.

According to the accusation, the 27-year-old girl argued with Molina, broke a glass bottle, stuck it in his neck and escaped.

The accused had made a series of publications in which she demonstrated that she had a conflictive relationship with the 16-year-old minor. The last of them was the most explicit, on the occasion of the victim’s birthday.

In the middle of a romantic post in which he congratulated him on his birthday, Rigoni wrote: “Thank you for being with me through thick and thin, I know that sometimes we have our crazy things, but I love you.”

The young woman added a series of photos in which she is seen in different situations with Benjamín Molina. Added to the images in which they are seen hugging, one of the photos shows the couple holding hands and the young man carrying the youngest daughter she had in 2022.

“Very happy birthday love, I will never leave you, no matter what happens. I love you my love, happy birthday, baby,” Luján added in the last message he dedicated to his boyfriend.

The post has a comment from the victim’s mother, Yésica Caraballo: “Happy birthday son, I love you.” To that message, Rigoni responded with a brief “thank you,” to which he added an emoji.

In the last few hours, aggressive comments from different relatives and friends of the victim appeared in that publication, accusing her of committing the brutal murder of the 16-year-old teenager.

Benjamín Molina’s mother, for her part, also commented on a Facebook group of Bernal neighbors and asked for help to try to get justice for her son’s crime.

“Hello, I’m the mom. I want justice for my son’s life . That daughter of a thousand f… took her life when she was only 16 years old. Please help me get justice, pay for what she did,” the woman wrote.

Other family members also said goodbye to him and friends also said goodbye to him online. Camila Cabral, a friend of the murdered man, wrote: “May you rest in peace, little friend. May the Lord have you in glory ‘poyi’ and may justice be done. See you soon, my condolences to the neighborhood.”
