Popular social media app ‘X’, formerly known as Twitter, owned by famous billionaire Elon Musk has started paying verified users for their tweets based on ad revenue.

This development was revealed by Users on Tuesday August 8 as they post payment evidence on the platform.

“Woke up to receive alert, Thank you Elon❤️”. Verified X user and popular influencer, Abbaz wrote.

Another verified user, Mr Black said: “People who tweet 24/7 will no longer be considered jobless thanks to Elon Musk🐐🔥”

However, to be eligible for monetisation on X, user(s) must be subscribed to X’s verification badge, have a minimum of 500 followers and have generated at least 15 million impressions in the last 3 months.
