Ruger is one of the most talented new Nigerian artists – and with a couple of hit songs and successful EPs, he sure is famous.

In a new interview with Susan Pwajok, the 22-year-old ‘Dior’ hit maker, Ruger opened up about his struggles with fame.

The interviewer asked Ruger, ‘Obviously you’re famous. Everyone knows you’re famous. Do you think fame is something that gets to people’s head? Do you think it has gotten to your head’?

‘Yes, it has gotten to my head’, Ruger replied. ‘It’s not possible it won’t get to your head sometimes, but you have to learn how to control it’.

When asked how he’s able to control it, Ruger said he’s always indoors as that gives him the room to think about how he would like to be seen by the public and helps him not to misbehave.

He also credited his mentors as people who helped him manage fame.
