Fire gut down a popular market in Maiduguri at midnight Saturday 25th February, Naijapopstar reports.

The Monday Market as it is popularly called is the largest commercial center in the eastern part of Nigeria.

Millions of properties were reportedly lost in the fire outbreak. But no loss of lives is recorded at the time of filing this report.
