Former Everton manager and Chelsea legend, Frank Lampard is set to become Chelsea’s caretaker manager until the end of the season.

According to reports obtained from Fabrizio Romano, the England international will become the Blues boss on a temporary basis to replace Graham Potter.

Lampard has accepted short-term deal.

“#CFC will continue process/talks to hire new head coach for long term project”. He concluded.

The London club has endured a topsy-turvy season as the currently occupies the 11th position on the premier league table.

Once Lampard appointment is made official, he will become the 4th coach for Chelsea this season.
