Greenwood Returns To Football After 18 Months Suspension In Getafe Win

Embattled Manchester United forward, Mason Greenwood has made a return to football after 18 months of suspension.

The England International made his return to football after coming off the bench for his debut with his new club, Getafe on Sunday.

A criminal case against Greenwood following his arrest on suspicion of attempted rape and assault was discontinued in February.

After the charges were dropped following a six-month investigation into his conduct, United decided to cut ties with the forward and he will now spend the season with the La Liga outfit.

Greenwood still has a contract at Old Trafford until 2025, but he is not expected to play for the club again and he is expected to seal a permanent move elsewhere after his loan period with Getafe.
