The highest court in Nigeria has dismissed the case filed by the Peoples Democratic Party which says that Kashim Shettima who is the deputy of Bola Tinubu of the All Progressive Congress should not be Tinubu’s deputy when they claim the position of president of Nigeria.

The Independent National Electoral Commission announced Bola Tinubu as the winner of the 2023 Nigerian presidential election.

The PDP documents were based on the fact that Shettima obtained a document to run for the position of parliament and also obtained a document to run for office as the president of Nigeria which they said was against the Nigerian constitution.
