Groovy, a former Big Brother Naija participant, has shared his account of the recent fatal explosion that occurred in Ibadan, Oyo State.

The blast, whose cause remains unknown, stirred panic among locals. The government has confirmed the incident, initiating investigations.

The explosion reportedly caused property damage, including shattered windows at the UCH School of Nursing dormitories.

Groovy, who was in Ibadan for a movie shoot, heard the blast from his hotel room and expressed deep concern, describing the videos and images he saw as terrifying.

In his words;

“I dey Ibadan dey shoot movie oh. Heard the explosion from my hotel room. God Abeg. The pictures & clips I’m seeing are scary. Hope everyone is safe.”
