Young and gifted Nigerian rapper Khaid has stated his aim to surpass Wizkid, the king of Afrobeats.

During a FaceTime conversation with American rapper Lil Durk, Khaid said this. On Wednesday, he tweeted a video of their chat.

The 19-year-old singer was questioned in the video about if he believes he can surpass Wizkid, a Grammy-winning musician.

Replying the question, Khaid noted that he has hope and he believes he will definitely be bigger than the superstar, who’s one of the biggest African artists currently.

He said, ‘I got hope. Definitely I will, I think I will’.
