‘I’m Nigerian from Oyo Kingdom’ – Ghanaian singer, Stonebwoy

Ghanaian singer Livingstone Etse Satekla, well known as Stonebwoy surprises many with the declaration of his roots, proudly announces his nationality as a Nigerian.

Stonebwoy, a member of Ewe tribe in Ghana, claimed to be a descendant of the old Oyo Kingdom in Nigeria.

He also stated that his Ewe clan was the first to settle in Ilesha, Osun State.

The dancehall artist revealed this in a recent conversation he had a with well-known Lagos influencer, Ola.

“Me sef nah Naija, no lies. Me nah Ewe from Oyo Kingdom, my tribe migrated from Nigeria to Ghana here, na we get Illesha. Shout-out to my people in the southern part of Nigeria. Check Ewe, we root straight to Yoruba.”
