American rapper Offset<\/strong> has spoken publicly after being shot earlier this month, saying he has already returned to performing and normal life following the incident.<\/p>\n

The artist made the remarks during an appearance on the Creators Inc. Podcast with Andy Bachman, where he discussed the shooting, which reportedly occurred outside a casino in Florida. Offset said he sustained a gunshot wound to the hip.<\/p>\n

Despite the seriousness of the incident, the rapper downplayed its impact, explaining that he quickly resumed work, including performing at a concert shortly after the shooting. He compared himself to the Energizer Bunny<\/strong>, telling host Andy Bachman that he does not have \u201ctime to be slowing down.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cGotta keep pushing, like the Energizer Bunny, man. Keep this shit pushing. We don\u2019t got time to be slowing down.\u201d he said<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\u201cBut we here, man. I\u2019m pushing. At the end of the day, the grind don\u2019t stop. I don\u2019t want nobody to feel sorry for me, or no shit like that. People get shot every day, bro.\u201d he added<\/p>\n

During the interview, which took place in Los Angeles, Offset appeared connected to an IV drip, suggesting he was still undergoing recovery at the time of filming, which is believed to have occurred about a week after the incident.<\/p>\n
