"It Was Given To Me As Ritual To Boost My Business" - Boutique Owner Caught With Human Skull Confesses


A boutique owner and photographer who was arrested with a Human skull a few days ago in Ondo State, has revealed that it was given to him as a ritual to boost his business.

In his confessional statement while been paraded by the state police command, the 26-year-old suspect, Franklin Akinyosuyi said the human head and the other fetish materials were given to him by a herbalist in Ikirun, Osun State after he paid N200,000.

Franklin also added that he used the items for one month but his business did not pick up as expected. It was when he was about to discard them when he was nabbed.

“I am a photographer, and I own a boutique as well. It was last year that my uncle took me to a herbalist.

I explained to him that my business wasn’t moving well, so he asked me to pay him N200,000 to make a concoction for me, which I paid within three weeks.

“After he was done, he called me to come pick it up, and that was last November. He directed that I should be bathing with the human head every Thursday at exactly 1 am.

I used it for a month but didn’t see any difference in my business. So, I had to call the herbalist and tell him to refund my money.” he said.

Speaking to reporters while giving details of the case, the police spokesperson in the state – SP Funmilayo Odunlami-Omisanya said an evangelist and a herbalist had been arrested in connection with the crime.

“Interrogation and investigation led to the arrest of one Oyegoke Dare, an evangelist who gave the skull and other fetish materials to the suspect; one Oyelade Sarafa, an herbalist who also confessed to having helped procure the skull from one Asekun (a vigilante) in Ikirun, was also arrested.

Two other suspects mentioned in connection with the case are currently at large,” she said.
