Auburn released a statement
addressing the news about running
back Jax Hunter. The statement was
issued Thursday evening by Jennifer
Adams, the university’s executive
director of public affairs.

“We are aware of the situation and
take this matter very seriously,” the
statement said. “The responsible
office conducteda thorough review.
An indefinite suspension was
imposed for violations of established
Auburn Athletic Department policy.
No further comment at this time.”

Hunter reportedly appeared in a
video that circulated on social media
on Thursday in which the Tigers star
is said to engage in sexual activity.
Hunter, one of the top players on
Auburn’s roster this season, ranks No.
56 this week on On3’s top 100
college football players for 2023. In
2022, he trails tank Bigsby on the
roster and rushes for 668 yards and
seven touchdowns, making him third
on the team behind Bigsby and
Robbie Ashford Germany.

Hunter is also one of Auburn’s top
spring training players and one of the
top 10 spring training offensive
players you need to know, according
to On3’s Matt Zenitz. He’ll be looking
to play a big role for a Tigers team
that’s seen a wave of change this
season.

Football Team Transfer Portal
Rankings, he has helped the team
achieve a sizeable transfer this year,
led by the No. 5 Transfer Portal class
in the cOuntry.

According to the On3 transfer portal
rankings, the Tigers have 18
transfers, including former Western
Kentucky offensive tackle Gunner
Britton the 27th transfer to land at
a portal this cycle. Most recently,
Auburn added former Michigan State
quarterback Peyton Thorne, who
could boost the position considerably
after TJ Finley came in the door.
Thorn is the 18th quarterback to
transfer to the Portal, according to
On3 Transfer Portal Rankings.
