Julia Dweck dead and obituary, nstructor Willow Lane Elementary EPSD death
They were married on December 8, 1984, in Spring Valley, New York. Her first son, Corey, was born in 1987, and her second son, Michael, was born in 1990. She is survived by her mother, Helen Greenberg, 98, Elyse Diamond and Ronnie Pearl of Las Vegas NV; Sister of Ronnie Pearl. Canada Toronto. She was preceded in death by her father, Harry Greenberg, and her sister, Eve Peterson.
Willow Lane Elementary EPSD Gifted Resource Teacher, 18 years of experience. Author of over 29 illustrated children’s books, including e-books, hardcovers, and paperbacks.
Chief program organizer and founder of the Talented Writers Mentoring Program at Columbia University in New York. Inducted into the CU Faculty Hall of Fame for 23 years. WL Regional Math24 Challenge Leader. Creative instructor in construction robotics, coding, 3D printing.
Designer of children’s literature teaching aids. Independent course creator for many of the world’s leading publishers and technology companies, including Disney, Google, and Penguin Random House.
Beloved daughter, esteemed mother, treasured wife, dear sister, respected colleague, friend to all, and adored by so many students. Julia is calm and reserved, not to be confused with weakness, and she makes her point by prefaced with “I’m sorry.” She stubbornly chose one of her favorite quotes: “Those who dream during the day realize many things that those who only dream at night miss.”
