Labour Party Governorship Candidate, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour Visits Makoko Slum In Lagos

The Governorship candidate under Labour party in Lagos, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour has visited the makoko slum area of the state.

The riverine area is considered one of the most poverty-stricken communities in Lagos, and many believed those in the area deserve to enjoy the dividend of democracy.

Peter obi’s victory in Lagos during the presidential elections has made the Labour party a force to reckon with. As a result, Mr. Gbadebo has posed a major challenge to Governor sanwo-olu’s second-term ambitions.

The Governorship and state House of Representatives elections was slated to hold today Saturday, March 11, 2023. However, the electoral body INEC announced a last-minute postponement due to BVAS re-configuration.

The polls is now scheduled to hold next Saturday, March 18, 2023.
