Nathanial Valentino of Married at First Sight dropped a bombshell when he said he wanted to quit the show because his wife Ella Morgan had supposedly “requested a threesome” when they were on their honeymoon.

After a furious fight with his significant other last week, the E4 star abruptly left the popular series.

However, the reality personality claims that issues started during their honeymoon.

“Ella isn’t my usual type, I was attracted to her at the wedding and when we were good we had so much fun,” Nathanial said.

“The truth is Ella wouldn’t spend time with me, she was more into having fun with the girls, I was always in the apartment cooking, cleaning, shopping, etc.

“She was more into getting drunk and partying every night, than working on us (what we were there for)… I went to bed alone 99% time.

“We promised each other we would protect each other and she betrayed my friendship and trust we created through this experience. [sic]

“I put up with a lot of her behaviour, but this was too much. [sic]

“I left the show on the honeymoon after I found out production lied to get me on the show and Ella’s drunk antics at hotel bar asking guys for 3sums [sic].

“She begged me to stay and that she was sorry for everything – which you guys didn’t see.”

The 36-year-old, from Manchester, also claims the show left him “depressed” and caused him to lose weight and hair.

The former Geordie Shore star says he was offered counselling after his experience, but declined the offer.

He added in his Instagram Stories: “It’s been the hardest thing I’ve been through mentally.

“There have been many days I haven’t got out of bed, loss of hair in patches and weight loss.

“I definitely fell into a dark hole.

“Communication with Channel 4 and CPL (production company) really messed me up and made me an angry person.

“Channel 4 offered me counselling but I can’t take the medicine from the companies that poisoned me.”

Nathanial bowed out of the TV show last week after allegations of messages between his 27-year-old wife and fellow co-star JJ.

A Channel 4 Spokesperson said: “Nathanial entered this process voluntarily with full and informed consent, and was actually provided with more information than we would ordinarily share with cast members.

“We take the matching of couples very seriously, using in-depth profiling, and research to match for compatibility.

“After being cast on MAFS UK, contributors have the ability and choice to leave the process at any stage, which audiences saw Nathanial do during episode 20 last week.

“The welfare of all contributors on Married at First Sight UK is our top priority and we ensure that appropriate support is available to contributors at all times before, during and after filming.

“All broadcast episodes of MAFS UK are a fair and accurate reflection of the events that took place.”

Ella said: “These claims which have been brought to my attention are really upsetting to read and are untrue.

“I worked really hard at my relationship with Nathanial and unfortunately it wasn’t meant to be.

“So I would very much like to leave that in the past and move on with my life.”
