Argentina superstar, Lionel Messi has gifted all Argentina players and staff gold-plated iPhones after their world cup victory.

The phone was inscribed with the name of all his teammates at the world cup in Qatar.

Messi led the team to a world cup triumph last December to cement his status as one of the world’s greatest in sports.

He also scooped the best player of the tournament award, scoring seven goals.

Lionel Messi was also awarded the FIFA player of the year award last week ahead of Kylian Mbappe and Karim Benzema.
