Just one month after splitting from her lover, Selema Masekela of South Africa, Kenyan-born Hollywood actress Lupita Nyong‘o seems to be living the high life.

In October, the actress revealed the breakup through a detailed post hinting that Selema might have been dishonest with her, emphasizing her resolve to confront her emotions directly

Part of the lengthy post read:

“At this moment, it is necessary for me to share a personal truth and publicly dissociate myself from someone I can no longer trust. I find myself in a season of heartbreak because of a love suddenly and devastatingly extinguished by deception. I am tempted to run into shadows and hide, only to return to the light when I have gained my strength enough for me to say, ‘Whatever, my life is better this way’.”

However, in a video shared on her Instagram, the actress, who went bald in May, appeared to be in high spirits and doing quite well.

Lupita delighted fans with her remarkable dance moves as she vibed to Janelle Monae’s Lipstick Lover song.

The actress, who visited Nigeria last year, was dressed in a stylish crop top, shorts, and boots and was leaning against a door, whining her waist to the jam.

“My official audition to be @JanelleMonae’s next #lipsticklover,” she playfully captioned the video.
