Naira Scarcity: Gunshots Fired As Protesters Clash With DSS In Ibadan

Protests over Naira scarcity took another turn today February 17, 2023, as Gunshots were fired in a clash between Protesters and DSS In Ibadan.

According to a naijapopstar correspondent who was there during the incident, the pandemonium happened at Iwo Road area of the state.

The problem started when DSS serving as a bullion van escort tried to pass a road blocked by protesters.

Angry citizens proceed to vent their anger on them by stoning their vehicles. The DSS responded by firing gunshots in the air, which made both protesters and passersby scamper for safety.

This is the latest episode of unrest over the scarcity of naira notes.
