Nigerian Businessman Arrested In Lagos Airport With Cocaine Stuffed In Bag Handles, Slippers

Operatives of the NDLEA have arrested a Nigerian businessman, Molokwu Nwachukwu in Lagos airport with cocaine stuffed in bag handles, and slippers.

This was disclosed by Femi Babafemi, the spokesperson for the NDLEA, in a statement released on Sunday.

He added that the suspect concealed thirty-six (36) parcels of cocaine in different parts of his check-in bags, hand luggage, and two pairs of slippers while heading to Southeast Asia.

According to Babafemi, Molokwu was arrested at the screening point of the MMIA Terminal 2 while attempting to board his flight to Vietnam on Wednesday, March 22.

The suspect claims he travels frequently to China, Dubai, UAE, Pakistan, and Vietnam, from where he imports baby wears he distributes from his Onitsha, Anambra state base.
