Iya Gbonkan, a veteran Nollywood actress better known by her stage name Magaret Bandele Olayinka, has received about N5 million in donations for her car and house project.

This occurs when a prophet named Prophet Gabriel Agbala answered her plea for assistance in completing her home and purchasing a vehicle.

The actress had earlier gone viral on social media when she made a public call for support to complete her old house and get a car.

Heeding her call, Gabriel took to his Facebook live on Tuesday to solicit funds from kind hearted individuals around the globe.

Giving an update on the donation so far, Gabriel wrote on his Facebook page on Wednesday, “N4.1 million for IYA GBONKAN HOUSE. N650,000 for MAMA ABENI AGBON. N650,000 for Mama Tamotiye

“N500k on the ground for Mama Gbonkan’s car, work has started already, OSHOGBO. We are coming by Friday, next week.”

Appreciating everyone for their financial support in Yoruba, Iya Gbonkan said: “I’m thankful and I don’t have power; you are my backbone; you will not get tired.

“My matter will not get you tired, and you will not be indebted for the good thing you are doing to me.

“In the name of God, you will have enough to spend. You will not have pain, and in the name of God, you will not go blind.”
