Nottingham Forest Promotes to the English Premier League after 23 years of absence
Nottingham Forest have won against Huddersfield town 0-1 courtesy of a Levi Colwill own goal to seal a English Championship Playoff win and seal promotion to the English Premier League after a 23 year absence.
The Reds were second best for most of the game at Wembley but a compact and disciplined defensive performance by Steve Copper’s men ensured a return to the English top flight.
Nottingham Forest now join Fulham and Bournemouth in promotion to the English Premier League for the 2022/2023 Premier League season.
