“Stay Strong” – Nwabali Tells Iwobi After Cyberbullying

Super Eagles goalkeeper, Stanley Nwabali, has expressed support for teammate Alex Iwobi amidst cyberbullying following the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) final.

Iwobi, who plays for Fulham, faced a barrage of negative comments after the AFCON final game and subsequently announced his exit from social media.

Nwabali took to his X account to share words of encouragement for Iwobi, emphasizing the unity of the team.

The tweet stated, “We win together, we lose together, we are all one. Stay strong,” accompanied by pictures of Iwobi.

The Minister of Sports Development, Senator John Owan Enoh, also engaged with Iwobi regarding the cyberbullying issue.
