Nyesom Wike no longer in PDP, says NEC member

The immediate-past governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, is no longer a member of the party, according to Timothy Osadolor, a member of the Peoples Democratic Party’s National Executive Committee, because of his actions leading up to, during, and following the 2023 general elections.

In a phone call with The NAIJAPOPSTAR on Tuesday, Osadolor dropped a hint that the party’s leadership had resolved to isolate Wike and make him irrelevant to PDP operations.

He claimed that Wike’s most recent public appearances, in which he appeared to be moving towards the All Progressives Congress, exposed him as a man who was constantly demanding attention, regardless of the damage it may do to his standing as a leader of the opposition.
