The guys are talented, We need to work on them – Police PRO says as he shares photos of confiscated locally made guns


ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the Nigeria Police Force spokesperson, has responded to the discovery of locally manufactured firearms in a Jos, Plateau state, gun factory, concerning their quality.

Adejobi claimed in a previously publicised statement that the police had discovered a factory in Kuru, Jos, Plateau state, that manufactures firearms. He revealed that 1,800 live rounds of ammunition, two Ak-47 rifles, and nine automatic handguns had all been found.

Adejobi said that the government should collaborate with the skilled guys who manufacture illegal weapons, after sharing pictures of the recovered rifles on X.

Additionally, he said that the ammunition was equally as lethal as that which was created lawfully.
