Adeniyi Adewoyin, a.k.a. Neo Phlames, a well-known entertainment journalist, has offered his opinion on the contentious artist Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable.

According to the journalist, Portable is one of the most talented singers in Nigeria, even more so than some top Nigerian artists.

The entertainment journalist made this statement via his Instagram page (@neophlames) on April 7, 2023, referencing how the singer used his recent legal troubles as inspiration for his latest track.

In his words: “I’ve said it over, @portablebaeby is talented than some of your faves. How many of them can turn a real life situation to a song? He just got out of a court case where he spent his weekend behind bars and before you even blink he already has a hit from that experience that many thought would have marred him. Talent no pass like this abeg.”
