Rapper Rasheem Lee, known professionally as Sheemy, has gotten himself into quite a bit of a pickle as he has been arrested and charged with murder over a March 2023 shooting in Astoria, Queens.

Two men, 22-year-old Xavier Roberts and 21-year-old Jaheim Hamilton, were shot as they walked outside a building on Steinway Street and Astoria Boulevard last year.

Police released surveillance footage of three suspects with their faces covered in hoodies, but it wasn’t until this year that arrests were effected in the case.
