Saheed Osupa, a friend and fellow artist from Fuji, video called Wasiu Alabi, also known as Pasuma, to express his sorrow over the passing of his mother.

Recall Alhaja Adija Kuburat Odetola, also known as Iyawo Anobi, the mother of Pasuma, passed away on April 6, 2023, and was buried the next day in accordance with Islamic customs. Her age was 84.

Despite allegations of animosity between Pasuma and his coworker Saheed Osupa, the latter posted a video on Instagram documenting their phone conversation.

Pasuma thanked him during the chat for everything he had done despite the fact that he was unable to be there for him in person.

Saheed Osupa captioned the video: “Even though I can’t be available in person to condole with you and play my role as a friend and colleague, I want you to know that I am always with you in spirit.

“May Mama soul rest in peace. Be Strong my brother and friend @officialpasuma.”

The eighth-day fidau prayer for the deceased has been scheduled to begin at noon on Friday at LTV in Agidingbi, Lagos.

Some shocking reactions have trailed Osupa’s post with many wondering even they buried the hatchet.

It’s no news that the top Fuji artistes were intimate friends before they both went separate ways due to allegations from Osupa that Pasuma was stealing his intellectual properties without acknowledgement.

After several efforts from Saheed Osupa to stop him from such alleged unprofessional attitude proved abortive, he resulted to abusive lyrics to trash Pasuma musically. The dispute continued with a lot of controversies trailing their individual careers as fans didn’t help matters.
