South Sudan U-17 Disqualified From AFCON After 5 Players Failed MRI Tests

South Sudan Under 17 Team has been disqualified from the African Cup of Nations after five players of the squad failed the compulsory MRI test.

As stipulated by CAF as a rule in the tournament, any team with five or more players caught falsifying football age will be kicked out and sent back home.

As a result, The south Sudanese will no longer be participating in the competition scheduled to kick off this weekend in Algeria.

There will now be only eleven teams left to contest for the crown as African champions in the junior category.
