The moment traders, customers without PVC are barred from entering Alaba International market
The ever-busy Alaba International Market, Ojo Lagos on Thursday, was shut out to buyers and sellers that don’t have Permanent Voters Card (PVC).

The market’s leadership ordered that traders and customers who do not have PVCs should not be allowed into the outlet.

A video making the rounds captured some men inside the gate checking if people have their cards before they are allowed inside the market.

According to reports, Alaba, was basically empty on Thursday as people who did not have their voters card were barred from entering and the gate was locked to ensure no one flouts the directive.

Similarly, last year, a similar thing happened when all the shops were locked to enable to register and collect the Permanent Voters Card (PVC) ahead of the 2023 general elections.
