The son of Mike Bamiloye – a popular Nigerian Gospel film actor and producer, Joshua Mike Bamiloye has said that it is improper for Christians to attend concerts by Nigerian musicians such as Rema, Wizkid, and Davido.

Joshua made this statement in a tweet on Monday where he asserted that genuine Christians shouldn’t go to shows by non-religious performers.

He further stated that many people would disagree with his viewpoint, only those who are led by the Holy Spirit can set boundaries.

“Honestly, if you consider yourself a genuine Christian, it’s not appropriate to participate in shows or concerts by secular artists like Davido, Wizkid, Rema, etc”. He wrote on Twitter.

“Some might argue against this view, but those who are led by the Holy Spirit can set boundaries’ He asserted.

The post has expectedly sparked mixed reactions on social media, with many labelling him a hypocrite while some others agreed with his point of view.
