After Godwin Emefiele’s suspension, Dr. Dipo Awojide, a Nigerian lecturer based in the UK, has recommended a candidate for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to designate as the new governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
Adesola Kazeem Adeduntan, the CEO of First Bank, is a superb candidate for the open position of CBN governor, according to Awojide.

He stated this via his verified Twitter handle @OgbeniDipo, adding that he hopes Adeduntan gets to become the next CBN governor.
He wrote:
