The US Embassy in Nigeria has condemned the attack by unknown assailants on the US government convoy in Ogbaru Local Government Area of ​​Anambra State.

In a press release, the office said it will work with law enforcement officials to prosecute the people suspected of the crime.

On Tuesday, the bandits attacked a team that included the staff of the US embassy in Nigeria and four Nigerian police officers.

The embassy said so far it does not know the purpose of the attack on the team.

The United States said that it has nothing more than protecting the lives of its workers, so it sent its condolences to the families of the people who were killed in the attack.

She also promised to do everything possible to save the remnants who have lost their lives.

The United States reiterated its determination to fulfill its promises to the Nigerian people, especially in the fight against terrorism and security problems.
