Kym Marsh has given fans an exciting latest news, but her former Coronation Street costar has jokingly discovered a problem. The actress has been busy recently traveling around the country as part of the cast of Take That’s jukebox musical The Great Days.

At the start of the tour, with Kym playing Rachel and her lookalike Emilie Cunliffe playing a younger version of the same character, Kym suffered two exits. Back in March, the 46-year-old revealed on social media that she last appeared on BBC One’s Morning Live show, before also confirming that her time on Waterloo Road was over.

The former Coronation Street star appeared in the reboot of the BBC One school series earlier this year, playing struggling dinner lady Nicky Walters, who also has two children at the school go to school. “So my Waterloo Road journey is coming to an end,” she wrote alongside a selfie at the time.

“What a journey it has been. Made a lot of friends, laughed a lot and made a lot of great memories! I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank everyone behind the scenes for their incredible work and throughout Support me on my journey.”
