Joseph Gatt, known for his role in Game of Thrones, has made an appearance in a Los Angeles criminal court where he faces charges related to engaging in sexually explicit online conversations with a minor.

The 51-year-old British actor attended the court session on October 2, accompanied by his longtime girlfriend, actress, and writer Mercy Malick.

Gatt, who portrayed Thenn Warg in the HBO fantasy series, is currently out on bail after being arrested on an outstanding felony warrant for “contact with a minor for a sexual offense” in Los Angeles in April 2022.

The case, presided over by Judge Enrique Monguia in the LA Superior Court, will resume on December 4 as additional evidence is required, according to prosecutor Michael Fern.

It has been 18 months since Gatt’s initial arrest in LA, during which his home was searched by police officers from the Juvenile Division and the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force. He was charged with “contact with a minor for sexual offense” and also faces a second charge of felony possession of an assault weapon.

Gatt pleaded not guilty to both charges in previous court appearances and, while granted $5,000 bail, he has been subject to restrictions, including no unsupervised contact with minors, possession of pornography, and limited use of social media for work purposes.
