Wizkid responds to Shallipopi’s brand-new song, “Ex-convict.”

Wizkid, the biggest bird, responded to Shallipopi’s latest single, Ex-convict, which was written by Elon Musk.

Viral Tik Tok singer Shallipopi is slowly warming his way into the hearts of many music enthusiasts and now celebrities since the release of his hit song that took the industry by storm Elon Musk.

Before the confirmation of the remix of Elon Musk which featured both Fireboy DML and Zlatan, the singer captured the attention of the YBNL boss who took to his social media platform to show his love for the artist after his release from police custody following his arrest on the allegations of fraud in May 2023.

Grammy award-winning singer and performer, Wizkid is the latest celebrity to react to Shallipopi’s songs in a post on social media as the Starboy himself took to his Instagram story to share a picture of him listening to the singer’s latest release titled Ex-convict.

Wiz is known to always share his favourite songs by Nigerian artists and from all indications he is definitely feeling the new Evian wave.

Ex-convict released by the singer was revealed to have been inspired following his arrest and detained by the Economic Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in Kaduna in May 2023.

The arrest was confirmed by the EFCC Spokesperson, Wilson Uwujaren in a statement that read, “Others are Adewale Adedokun, Yakubu Ojochememi, AbdulAzeez Suleiman, Umoru AbdulAzeez, Emmanuel Iwebo, Shuaibu Smart, Joel Kator, Gowon Titus, Emmanuel Daniel, Enough Ekpo, Atano Eben, Ijuo Ochi, Paul Kaye, Uyit Victor and David Yachai. Also arrested are Leche Sokomba, Onoja Uroko, Cornelius Agbodesi, Edigim Success, Azubuike Oniya, Usman Shereef, Victory Chiemela, Lambert Chikwado, Asoore Oloruntoba and Malik Jibril. They were arrested following actionable intelligence about a proposed show by suspected Internet fraudsters at Barnawa, Kaduna.”
